Mobility Tracks

In 2017, all students will spend the first semester of the program at Universität Bielefeld (Germany), and the second semester at one of the four consortium universities, according to each student's mobility track.  Universität Bielefeld offers many course-choices. See the list of courses for more information. The focus of the first year of studies is on creating a solid foundation in economics (microeconomics and macroeconomics), econometrics, and also mathematical methods in economics including courses in probability, optimization, and statistics.

The Second Year must be spent at one of the four universities and is devoted to the chosen specialization.

The mobility track is fixed for each student during the Admission Process
. In the application phase, the student should express his/her preference about mobility.  The Joint Graduate Committee chooses the proposed mobility track taking into account factors such as the student's preference, the wishes of the partners, and the equal repartition of students within the Consortium for the second year.

If a student is accepted, the committee proposes a specific mobility track. The student will be notified about his acceptance with that mobility track. The possible confirmation of intention to participate in the Master QEM program means acceptation of the proposed mobility track.

Mobility changes after confirmation of acceptance by the student are not possible for the Erasmus Mundus Scholars and are exceptional for the others.

The Deadline for submitting requests of all mobility changes for the two years is September 15th of the first year. These requests must be sent to Opens window for sending emailqemapp@univ-paris1.fr

Only the students without the Erasmus Mundus scholarships are concerned by this deadline.
